Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data Mock Call collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Mock Call is an AI-powered platform for practice interviews and mock calls operated by the team behind trymockcall.com. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.
Account data
When you create an account, our authentication provider, Clerk, stores your basic identity information — your name and email address. We use this to sign you in, associate your sessions with your account, and contact you about the service.
Practice and interview data
When you run a practice interview or mock call, we process the content of that session so we can conduct it and produce your feedback. Depending on the session type, this can include:
- Audio recordings of the conversation, on paid sessions;
- Video recordings of your camera — only on video/premium practice sessions and on B2B premium interviews;
- Live transcripts of what is said during the session;
- AI-generated scorecards and feedback derived from your responses.
Emotion and delivery analysis
On video/premium sessions only, we analyze your delivery — including facial expression and voice prosody — to give you feedback on presence and communication. This analysis is not performed on audio-only or transcript-only sessions.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe; we never store your full card number. We keep a record of your purchases and credit balance so we can provide the service.
Candidate data (hiring customers)
When a company uses Mock Call to interview its candidates, we process that candidate’s session data (recordings, transcript, and scorecard) on the company’s behalf, as a processor. Consent to record and analyze the interview is collected from the candidate at the start of the session, before it begins.

Retention
We keep your account and session data for as long as your account is active so you can review your history and track your progress. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at the address below, and we will delete it.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share data only with the subprocessors above, to operate the service, or where required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies only for authentication and to keep you signed in during your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
